Blue Sky Engineering is proud to offer a scholarship program to support the next generation of engineering talent in Utah. The Blue Sky Engineering Annual Scholarship is a one-time award of $500 granted to an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in engineering. This scholarship is intended to recognize a student who demonstrates a passion for problem-solving, a commitment to academic excellence, and a vision for how engineering can improve our communities.

To be considered for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be a resident of Utah.
• Be enrolled as an undergraduate student at a Utah college or university.
• Be pursuing a degree in civil engineering  (preferred structural emphasis).
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Applicants who meet the eligibility requirements are invited to submit an essay (with a maximum word count of 500) addressing the following prompt:

Engineers are problem-solvers who build, design, and innovate. Beyond the classroom, what is a toy, a project, or an object you have created that exemplifies your passion for building and your creative spirit? What was it about this particular project that ignited your curiosity and engaged your creativity? What did the process teach you about yourself, the principles of engineering, or the satisfaction of creating something from scratch?
