The guys with Blue Sky Engineering are amazing! We had them out to our home to assess potential foundation and structural issues we had been told were occurring by foundation “specialists”. They were honest and straightforward with us, and they were able to reassure us that there wasn’t anything going on with our home that we needed to be concerned with. They really gave us peace of mind and patiently answered all of our questions. I highly recommend them, we will be using them in the future with other homes we may purchase!
Side note – please be carful when reaching out to foundation repair companies, they tried to oversell a pier system that wasn’t necessary for our home. We were able to save so much time and money (about $55k) by calling out Blue Sky to do an inspection.

Clifton from Blue Sky Engineering saved us thousands of dollars!
We’re preparing to sell our home, which has some cracks in the garage’s brickwork and floor. We first spoke to a foundation repair company, who made us sit through a long presentation and told us we needed a $32,000 Push Pier system.
Clifton from Blue Sky Engineering came out promptly and determined the cracks were not concerning from a structural perspective and did not need to be addressed. He also provided a letter we can include in our disclosures for potential buyers.
Please do yourself a favor. If you have structural concerns with your property, call Blue Sky Engineering before you call anyone else. They’ll guide you to the solution you actually need.

Blue Sky Engineering was great! They got me the structural plans I needed in a timely manner and at a reasonable and fair price. Brian, the engineer, was extremely helpful in giving me more ideas for our free-standing patio then I originally had which allowed me to save money on materials…plus it was nice to have several ideas to work with when designing the patio. He performed a site visit to assess what was wanted/needed for the project, figured out several girder/girt connections for me, and answered several of my questions which I had after I received the structural detailed drawing from him. I am so pleased with Blue Sky and grateful for Brian and all of his help. When I need structural plans in the future, I will continue to use Blue Sky Engineering.
